Scum of the Brave

The story is set in the middle of the 21st century, when Tokyo’s crime world is controlled by a powerful crime leader, Demon Lords, who gained strong abilities via ether enhancement surgery. Bounty hunters, heroes are the only ones who can defeat and increase their ether powers by using the E3(E-three) drug. Though killing is legal in their work, being a hero is not only about justice, but also about staying alive. Yashiro, known as Reaper, is one of such heroes who works individually. However, his isolated life changes when a high school girl, Jougamine, who calls herself his “apprentice”, enters his life. Since he accepts her, Yashiro becomes involved in a story of brutal battles.
